West Ham United have just returned from their controversial training trip to Miami.

David Moyes, Manager of Sunderland gives his team instructions during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Sunderland at Emirates Stadium on May 16, 2017 in London, England.

West Ham United fans are still frustrated by their side’s trip to Miami for warm weather training, even though they have now returned.

West Ham landed back in England earlier today, after the controversial trip to America.

The Hammers have been in poor form of late, and lost 3-0 against Burnley in their last match.

West Ham fans were, therefore, left outraged when the club decided to go away to Miami to train.

But Moyes has defended the training camp, insisting that it has brought his squad closer together.

He said to the club’s official website: “The good thing was that we pulled together and we’ve talked about how we’re going to come back stronger and be much better.”

Moyes’ comments have not gone down well with West Ham fans though, as they still feel the warm weather training was a bad idea.

West Ham have been keen to defend the decision, but the London Stadium crowd are almost in unanimous agreement that the trip was a bad idea.

West Ham are next in action in two weekends’ time, when they take on Southampton.
