Kouyate had an eventful evening for West Ham United at Wembley.

Cheikhou Kouyate had a memorable night as West Ham United returned from Wembley with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
As well as having his head confused for a football by Hammers goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel, the Senegalese squandered a great chance to put his side 2-0 up before Heung-min Son’s late equaliser.

Kouyate impressed after joining West Ham from Anderlecht three-and-a-half-years ago, although it could be argued that his recent form falls short of the standard he initially set in east London.
For several Hammers fans, his Tottenham display has proved the final straw and many want him sold during the January transfer window.
Here’s what they are saying about Kouyate’s performance on Twitter…
West Ham held off the home side impressively on the night, and eventually took the lead with their first shot of the game – a stunning 25-yard drive from Kouyate’s midfield colleague Pedro Obiang.
Kouyate put the Spaniard’s inviting cross wide seven minutes later, enabling Son to steal a point for Spurs with six remaining.
