West Ham United winger Michail Antonio came under fierce criticism after Manuel Pellegrini’s side’s latest defeat.

Antonio was brought on for West Ham as Pellegrini’s side chased the game at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The powerful forward helped West Ham draw level with Huddersfield, and Pellegrini was impressed by his display.
He said: “I think that the substitutions, same as last game, Antonio and Javier, played very well in the second half.”
West Ham fans did not agree with their manager’s comments though, with the £7 million signing’s (Daily Mail) display taking a battering on social media website Twitter.
Antonio’s future at West Ham looks very uncertain, as he has never recreated the sort of form that made him their player of the season two years ago.
The winger has only played a bit-part role with the Hammers so far this term, and he has often come off the substitutes’ bench.
West Ham’s win over Huddersfield has pushed them up into 13th place in the Premier League table.
