Will Liverpool move for the West Ham United star if Neymar joins the Ligue 1 giants? Hammers fans believe so.
Fans of West Ham United are worried that Neymar’s £200 million move to Paris Saint-Germain will spark a chain of events which results in them losing Manuel Lanzini.
The Brazilian, 25, is heavily linked with a move to the French capital and the consensus seems to be that, should he leave, Barcelona will look at Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
According to The Express, Liverpool turned down an £89 million bid from Barca for the Brazilian star this week, but if the Catalan giants want him then it would seem as if there’s little that the Reds can do to prevent him moving to Camp Nou.

If that materialises then Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will need a replacement and, with The Standard reporting that the Merseyside outfit want West Ham’s Lanzini, Hammers fans could be forgiven for thinking that the 24-year-old is being lined up by the German manager.
That doesn’t bode well for the Irons, whose fans on Twitter are confident that such a move for Neymar could ultimately lead to them losing the Argentine.
West Ham would certainly be handsomely compensated if they lost Lanzini. Problem is, there is less than a month to go before the window shuts, making it not ideal for Slaven Bilic to scout, negotiate for and sign a replacement.
