West Ham United fans have been discussing the potential for Harry Redknapp to come in as director of football at the London Stadium.

There have been suggestions on social media that Redknapp could come in, to help out with transfers and connections.

However, West Ham fans are divided over whether they would like Redknapp to return.

Redknapp managed the Hammers for seven years between 1994 and 2001, and helped bring through some top talent.

He would arrive at the London Stadium at a point when tensions are very high though.

And it seems that the board would be making another controversial decision by appointing Redknapp in any capacity.

Redknapp has been out of work since leaving his job as manager of Birmingham City last year.

West Ham are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table, just three points above the relegation zone.
