West Ham United fans have asked why Sead Haksabanovic was not given a chance to show his worth against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup yesterday.

Haksabanovic was brought to West Ham during the summer transfer window from Halmstad, and his performances for the London side have already caught the eye.

The 18-year-old was handed his debut in the League Cup earlier this campaign, and his form for the Hammers’ development has also earned praise.

And West Ham fans would have liked to have seen Haksabanovic given a chance yesterday.

West Ham could only manage a 0-0 draw against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup, as the Premier League side struggled.

Moyes’ men were actually lucky to get a draw from the fixture, as Shrewsbury were the better team for large parts of the match.

West Ham and Shrewsbury will now face a replay, when Haksabanovic could be handed a chance by Moyes.

The Hammers will find out who they could play in the fourth round later this evening, when the draw is made live on the BBC.
