West Ham United fans are desperately hoping that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a target for them during the January transfer window.

It has been suggested by the Daily Mail that Loftus-Cheek could leave Chelsea when the window re-opens, as he has been unable to force his way into their starting line-up this season.

And West Ham supporters are hoping that Manuel Pellegrini is already making plans to snap up Loftus-Cheek.

Loftus-Cheek proved with Crystal Palace last season that he is more than ready to play in the Premier League.

The youngster forced his way into the England squad for the World Cup, but his return to Chelsea has seen his chances limited.

A move to West Ham could help him gain more game-time, which means that transfer could suit both player and club.

With Pellegrini’s side operating with a three-man midfield now, Loftus-Cheek could add creativity and power to West Ham’s line-up.
