Masuaku got on the scoresheet late on, to complete the triumph, and the left-back’s display caught the eye.
There are now a number of West Ham fans who are eager for Masuaku to retain his place ahead of Aaron Cresswell for Slaven Bilic’s side’s league match against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
Cresswell has held West Ham’s left-back position for some time now, but Masuaku is certainly putting him under pressure.
Cresswell’s form so far this season has been slightly questionable, which could provide Masuaku with an opportunity to break into the team.
West Ham are now unbeaten in their last three matches, meaning they go into their game against Spurs with some momentum behind them.
