West Ham United defender Pablo Zabaleta has congratulated Sergio Aguero for breaking Manchester City’s all time goalscoring record against Napoli yesterday.

Aguero scored his 178th goal for City in Pep Guardiola’s side’s 4-2 victory over Napoli in the Champions League.

And Zabaleta had to message his former City teammate to recognise his achievement.

Zabaleta left City to join West Ham in the summer, but he is still considered a legend at the Etihad Stadium.

West Ham are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table, while City have looked unstoppable so far this season.

Guardiola’s side currently top the Premier League table by five points, and remain unbeaten in Champions League action after last night’s brilliant win over Napoli.
