West Ham United have brought in Sebastian Haller, but Manuel Pellegrini reportedly wants another striker.

West Ham were focused on signing Maxi Gomez for much of the summer, but the Spanish striker ended up picking Valencia instead.
The Hammers have, in turn, gone after Sebastian Haller and it seems like they are close to getting their main target, with the Daily Mail suggesting that he is set to take a medical.
While Haller looks a really exciting addition, he is unproven at Premier League level.
Rondon, on the other hand, has a great track record in England and scooped up the Player of the Year award last year at Newcastle United.

Rondon could have offered West Ham a guaranteed level of performance, and at £16.5 million would have been an excellent addition to their squad, even in a back-up role.
And while Haller’s arrival looks to be really eye-catching, West Ham may just not regret pushing for Rondon at the same time, as he could have been a valuable signing too.
