West Ham United now face competition from Crystal Palace for Kelechi Iheanacho.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, West Ham United are hesitating over a deal to sign Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Nigerian international forward has been made available for £20 million, and initially it seemed that West Ham were winning the race for his signature.

However, the Hammers have reportedly delayed over the transfer – which has led to Crystal Palace trying to sneak in.
The Eagles are now keen to bring Iheanacho, and West Ham risk missing out on a transfer which surely would have had little downside.
As a result, Slaven Bilic’s men should not hesitate any more, in the race for Iheanacho.

West Ham are unlikely to be able to bring a better prospect to the London Stadium this summer, and at £20 million (Mirror) the 20-year-old is hardly overpriced in the modern day market.
Iheanacho’s scoring record is very impressive at City, and at any other Premier League club he would surely still have a future.
And if West Ham do not want to look back with regret, they should attempt to rush through a deal for Iheanacho, rather than risk losing out, as interest mounts.
