West Ham United are said to be considering moves for both Maxi Gomez and Salomon Rondon, as Manuel Pellegrini wants to improve his strike force.

If West Ham United bring in Maxi Gomez and Salomon Rondon, then they shouldn’t even be concerned about losing Marko Arnautovic.
The Daily Mirror have reported how Arnautovic is once again angling for an exit from the London Stadium, with West Ham currently set on keeping him.
West Ham will only sell the Austrian international, but their potential contingency plan if the does depart actually looks strong.
West Ham are also been said to be interested in Rondon by Football London, with West Bromwich Albion looking to sell.
If Gomez and Rondon were brought to West Ham then Aranutovic’s departure would immediately be covered for.

Rondon was Newcastle United’s Player of the Season last term, and he made it into double figures – proving beyond all doubt he can score goals in the Premier League.
Gomez is more of an uncertainty in England, but he has looked brilliant in Spain, and with the assurance of having Rondon to call on, he could be a gamble worth taking for West Ham.
The Spaniard has the potential to become a major threat, even if he isn’t the finished article yet.
And although Arnautovic is a quality player, if West Ham make the double swoop then his departure is unlikely to hurt them much in the upcoming season.
