
West Ham United have loaned out midfielder Conor Coventry again – and it sounds like he’s making a big impact at Milton Keynes Dons.
Coventry, 21, has been coming up through the West Ham ranks having first joined the club at the age of just 10.
Soon turning 22, Coventry has never made a league appearance for West Ham and has just three competitive appearances to his name across all competitions.
After a loan spell at Lincoln City in 2020, West Ham decided to send the midfielder out on loan again last summer.
Coventry was farmed out to Peterborough United but didn’t quite hit top form in the Championship.
Come January, Coventry was loaned out again, this time dropping to League One with a move to Milton Keynes Dons.
Dons boss Liam Manning was a West Ham coach and worked closely with Coventry, so their reunion is no huge shock.
Coventry is now playing a starring role for MK Dons and turned in a superb display against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night.
Coventry set up Tennai Watson’s opening goal in a 2-0 win, splitting the Charlton defence with a stunning outside-of-the-foot pass.

Aston Villa loanee Kaine Kessler Hayden popped up with the second goal, but it was Coventry who stole the show.
MK Dons took to Twitter to rave about Coventry, simply stating ‘Conor Coventry is everywhere’ after a tireless display in midfield.
Hard work and covering ground are great attributes, but when you can also a dissect a defence with one pass, you have what many midfielders desire.
Coventry has shown he can do that in League One, but only time will tell whether he can bring those attributes to West Ham’s first team.
