West Ham United had originally planned to offer a Slaven Bilic a new deal in January.

Slaven Bilic has told West Ham United’s official site that he is not fazed by reports suggesting that David Sullivan and David Gold are considering delaying offering him a new deal.
The Hammers have started the season in poor form, and the Telegraph have suggested that Bilic will now not be offered an extended contract – as was originally planned.
However, Bilic insists that these reports are of no concern to him – as he does not like to speak about his future in public.

“I didn’t speak about it in March or April either, not publicly or with the chairman. We never discussed it,” he said, when asked whether he feels that a new contract should be put to one side.
“I have a contract, and as I was then, I am now. I am totally concentrating on training and games. I never like to talk about it.”
Sullivan has previously suggested that Bilic would be offered a new deal in January, but West Ham’s poor form has reportedly made him reconsider this plan.

The Hammers finished last season in seventh placed and surpassed expectations. However, this term they have been abject – and they currently sit in 19th place in the Premier League table, having won just once.
West Ham’s next match comes against Accrington Stanley in the League Cup, before they face Southampton in a crucial Premier League match at the weekend.
