West Ham United have been linked with Millwall’s David Martin.

According to a report by the South London Press, Millwall’s David Martin is set to join Premier League club West Ham United as a third-choice goalkeeper.
It is claimed the 33-year-old had been offered a new deal by Millwall, but after failing to secure terms he now appears set to join London rivals West Ham on a free when his contract expires this summer.
Millwall have recently told back-up goalkeeper Jordan Archer he can leave the club when his contract expires this summer. Ben Amos, meanwhile, has returned to parent club Bolton Wanderers following his loan spell.
The situation would leave Millwall without a recognised first-team goalkeeper and puts pressure on manager Neil Harris to make a new shot-stopper his number one priority during the transfer window.
The Lions have been linked with Bournemouth’s Aaron Ramsdale, according to the South London Press, but they face competition from fellow Championship club Huddersfield Town who are also said to be keen.
West Ham will be following a trend of Premier League clubs signing experienced goalkeepers and having them as third-choice, ready to provide back-up in cup games and in case of injuries.

Manchester United have Lee Grant on their books, while Chelsea have Robert Green.
Martin, who helped Millwall reach the quarter-final of the FA Cup and preserve their Championship status this season, would provide back-up to West Ham’s number one Lukasz Fabianski.
