West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku feels that he didn’t improve under Slaven Bilic during his time at the London Stadium.

Masuaku moved to West Ham back in 2016 for £6 million (Guardian), and he has worked under Slaven Bilic and David Moyes as well as Pellegrini during his time with the London club.
But the full-back insists that Pellegrini is the only West Ham boss who has actually helped him to develop.
“Since I joined the club, he is the first manager who I felt has helped me improve,” Masuaku said.
“He believes in me a lot. He always says to me that he believes in me, that I can give more than I’m giving now.
“It’s good when you have that support from your coach. You feel stronger and I hope I can improve this year because I understand some things better because it’s been a year with him, and he’s given me that support.”
Masuaku could have a key role to play at West Ham this term, as the left-back spot in Manuel Pellegrini’s side is up for grabs.

West Ham failed to bring in another left sided defender over the summer, which was a shock to many.
Aaron Cresswell’s form dipped last season, while there are still question marks over Masuaku’s defensive ability.
It is not entirely clear who will end up as Pellegrini’s first choice this term, although it looks more likely that Cresswell get the nod on opening day.
West Ham are set to begin their season with a match against Manchester City tomorrow.
