Andriy Yarmolenko

West Ham United seem to be closing in on the signing of Andriy Yarmolenko from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham have made a bid of £17.5 million for the Ukraine international winger. It has also been reported that deal is subject to a medical and work permit.

Good signing for West Ham United?

Yarmolenko, who can also operate as a forward, is a very experienced attacking player who would add to the quality of West Ham’s attacking unit.

The 28-year-old Ukraine international scores goals and creates them, and the former Dynamo Kyiv star will fit manager Manuel Pellegrini’s attacking style of play at West Ham.

Bruno Fernandes of Portugal is challenged by Koke of Spain during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia group B match between Portugal and Spain at Fisht Stadium on June 15, 2018 in Sochi, Russia.

Bruno Fernandes

According to Sky Sports, West Ham are in talks with Sporting Lisbon over the transfer of Bruno Fernandes in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Sporting want £25m as transfer fee for Fernandes, who is also claimed to be on the radar of Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

Good move for West Ham?

Fernandes is a very good and talented midfielder, and given that the Portugal international is only 23 years of age, he can only improve in the coming years.

The 23-year-old is quite experienced as well, having already turned out for Italian clubs Novara, Udinese and Sampdoria.
