Martin Braithwaite wants to stay at Barcelona amid interest from David Moyes’s West Ham United, according to Mundo Deportivo.
What’s the story?
It has been reported that West Ham are interested in signing Braithwaite from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish giants are open to selling the Denmark international striker.
However, the former Middlesbrough striker does not want to leave Barca and wants to stay at Camp Nou.
Barcelona stay or West Ham transfer?
Ronald Koeman’s Barcelona have signed Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay on free transfers already this summer.
It is clear that the Argentine and the Dutchman will be starting regularly in the first team.
Braithwaite struggled to hold down a place in the Barcelona starting lineup last season.

The Barca no.9 made 11 starts and 18 substitute appearances in La Liga and made two starts and four substitute appearances in the Champions League last season.
Now, with Aguero and Depay in the team, the 30-year-old will struggle even more.
West Ham do need a striker.
Manager Moyes has not replaced Sebastien Haller since the 27-year-old left for Ajax in January 2021.
Braithwaite is likely to get more playing time at West Ham than he would at Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo (print edition, June 24th, page 18) has reported that West Ham have made an offer for Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo.
