Inter Milan are not convinced by Chelsea-owned striker Romelu Lukaku and want to sign Gianluca Scamacca from West Ham United, according to CMW.
The Italian news outlet has claimed that Lukaku, on loan from Chelsea at Inter at the moment, is not having the best of times with injuries and lack of form.
The former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners are looking at signing Italy international striker Scamacca from West Ham as a potential replacement for the Belgium international.
Could Gianluca Scamacca leave West Ham United for Inter Milan?
In our view, Gianluca Scamacca could leave West Ham United for Inter Milan, but only in the summer of 2023.
We do not think that West Ham will sell the 24-year-old striker in the middle of the season, especially when there is a chance that they could get relegated from the Premier League.

Lukaku is on loan at Inter until the summer of 2023, so it would make sense for the Milanese giants to try to bring Scamacca as his replacement then.
Scamacca, who earns £71,000 per week (SalarySport), moved to West Ham from Italian club Sassuolo in the summer of 2022.
The 24-year-old striker has made 11 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, scoring three goals in the process.
The Italian has also scored two goals in five UEFA Europa Conference League for the Hammers so far this campaign.
