A select round-up of the latest news relating to West Ham United…

According to Sky Sports, West Ham United will make an improved bid for Stoke City attacker Marko Arnautovic when the time is right.

The Hammers have already failed with offers of £15million and £20million for the 28-year-old Austrian international, and now it is being suggested that West Ham are biding their time before going back in for a player who allegedly wants to make the switch to the London Stadium this summer.

Moving on, Sky Sports are also claiming Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will complete his medical tomorrow (Monday) ahead of a move to West Ham. The deal is said to be an initial loan move with the option to buy in 12 months.

Slaven Bilic’s side are in desperate need of a new quality ‘keeper and England international Hart certainly fits the bill.

The Guardian develops the story a little further, suggesting City will pay a proportion of Hart’s wages during his temporary stint at the Hammers.

And finally, ESPN are reporting that West Ham have agreed to sell young midfielder George Dobson to Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old only signed for the Hammers from Arsenal two years ago with a big reputation having impressed in the Gunners’ academy. However he will now continue his development abroad after failing to make the breakthrough under Bilic.
