A select round-up of the latest news relating to West Ham United…

According to Goal.com’s French website, West Ham United have bid for SC Caen winger-cum-striker Yann Karamoh with the 18-year-old set to move on this summer.

The Ligue 1 club know they have to cash in now or lose the teenager for nothing in just 12 months, and that has prompted both West Ham and RB Leipzig to chance their hand.

Caen allegedly value Karamoh at £8.7million and the Hammers are said to have bid that amount, as have the free-spending Bundesliga club.

A decision is expected in the coming days and it could come down to who offers the best personal terms or simply what country the Ivorian-born French footballer wants to play in next.

In other news, the Mirror claims West Ham are interested in signing Theo Walcott if he becomes available this summer.

The England international is said to be frustrated at his prospects at Arsenal and West Ham are considering a £25million move.

It would be bold to say the least, but it remains to be seen if they could pull off a deal and if Walcott would be the right player for Slaven Bilic’s side at this time.

Moving on, the Sun claims West Ham are prepared to offer Manuel Lanzini a new £50,000-a-week contract to ensure he remains at the London Stadium for the long term.

The Argentine has been a big hit among Hammers fans and it is being reported that they are hoping improved terms ward off potential Premier League suitors.
