West Ham United’s player ratings on FIFA 17, how has this key man not made it?

The Hammers have endured a torrid start to their 2016/17 campaign.

They were dumped out of the Europa League by Romanian side FC Astra, and currently sit third from bottom in the Premier League table after just one win from their opening five games.

The Londoners do, however, have many top players amongst their squad, and football website Futhead have listed every club’s ratings, from which we have put together the Hammers’ top-10 rated stars.

Incredibly, Michail Antonio misses out on the top-10, with a rating of just 76. Other notable absentees are club captain Mark Noble (78) and midfielder Cheikhou Kouyaté (77).

The Argentine has just returned from injury, and makes such a huge difference to the West Ham side.

=8) Gökhan Töre – 79

The Turk’s place in the top 10 will amaze many Hammers fans after witnessing some of his performances this term.

=8) Håvard Nordtveit – 79

The towering centre-back cum midfielder was seen as a good signing in the summer, but is another player who has failed to truly make an impact on Slaven Bilic’s side.

=3) Adrian – 80

West Ham’s number one goalkeeper, and a fan favourite.

=3) Angelo Ogbonna – 80

The Italian was signed by Bilic for £8 million last summer, and despite being equal third on the FIFA 17 rankings for the Hammers, he has struggled to make the centre-back position his own.

=3) Andre Ayew – 80

West Ham’s record signing, the Ghana international is currently unavailable for selection after he suffered a long-term injury on his Hammers debut.

=3) Sofiane Feghouli – 80

Signed on a free this summer, the former Valencia man has shown what he is capable with a couple of dazzling displays. He has recently retuned from injury, and the Hammers will need him to be at his best.

=3) Simone Zaza – 80

The Italian moved to London on a season-long loan, and the Hammers have an option to buy at the end of the campaign. His influence on the team has been questionable thus far, and his ranking of 80 seems to be generous to say the least.

2) Winston Reid – 81

The New Zealand international has been one of West Ham’s most consistent performers over the past few years, but has been a shadow if his former self as his side have struggled defensively.

1) Dimitri Payet – 86

Who else but Payet? The mercurial Frenchman is adored by the Hammers faithful, and it is little wonder with his top-level performances, week-in, week-out.

Will West Ham manage to hold on to their star man beyond this season?
