Martinez joined Real Valladolid in January from West Ham on loan.

West Ham United striker Toni Martinez has eventually confirmed he will indeed rejoin the Premier League side after helping loan club Real Valladolid gain promotion to La Liga.
The 20-year-old joined Valladolid until the end of the season after making his senior debut for the Hammers in the FA Cup matches against Shrewsbury Town and Wigan Athletic.

He managed 11 appearances for the second-tier Spanish side, helping them finish in fifth place and eventually winning the play-offs to return to the top tier for the first time in four years.
Martinez posted on Instagram after helping Valladolid gain promotion, suggesting that he was set to rejoin parent club West Ham in a long-winded message that included: “I’ll always carry you in my heart”.
Martinez broke into the Hammers’ senior side to begin with after scoring nine goals for West Ham’s reserve side in 13 Premier League 2 outings.
The Spanish youth international’s future may not be at the London Stadium for much longer, though, with less than 12 months remaining on his current contract.
New manager Manuel Pellegrini must decide whether to offer the forward a new contract, or consider selling him this summer in order to avoid losing him on a free in a year’s time.
