West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble had nothing but praise for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, after his hat-trick knocked the Hammers out of the League Cup.
Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Noble said that he was impressed by Calvert-Lewin’s performance for Everton in Carlo Ancelotti’s side’s 4-1 victory.
The powerful forward kept up his fine scoring run, as he hit the back of the net three times.
And Noble admits that Everton have put together a seriously strong attacking force now.
“He’s got some really good players behind him, too, to put the chances on a plate for him,” Noble said.
“The first goal for us was a bit of a shame as it came from nothing really, and then we managed to get back into it straight after half-time, but Calvert-Lewin is a great player and really coming on strong and he’s got some top, top players behind him now to create chances and that was the difference, as with the chances they had, they finished us off.”
Calvert-Lewin has now scored back to back hat-tricks at Goodison Park, and has taken his tally to eight goals for the season already.

The 23-year-old appears to be playing right at the top of his game, and he is now surely pushing for a call up to the England squad.
Everton are also in excellent form and their win last night only helps to continue their momentum.
Ancelotti’s side have taken maximum points in the Premier League so far, with their next game coming against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
