Bennetts has left Tottenham to join Oxford at Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 19-year-old has completed a move to join Oxford’s loan side Borussia Monchengladbach, where the latter has spent this season on loan.
Spurs allowed Bennetts to leave despite shining in Spurs’ Under-23 side this season. He joins a number of players to move from British sides to the Bundesliga, including Oxford, Jadon Sancho, Ademola Lookman and David Bates.

Gladbach are also keen on tying up a permanent deal for Oxford which would see the two England youth internationals team up, and Oxford spoke highly despite the Spurs-West Ham rivalry between the duo.
“Keanan is still a year younger than me, so I never played with him. But he has a strong left foot, is incredibly fast, a very good player,” Oxford said.

Making 32 league and cup appearances for Spurs’ second string this season, the versatile left-footer has scored nine goals and laid on an impressive eight assists despite playing at left-back during the season.
Spurs are said to be due a compensation fee for Bennetts, despite his transfer to foreign side. Whether he can have the impact of either Sancho or Lookman, though, remains to be seen.
