West Ham goalkeeper Roberto was called upon at the weekend.

West Ham right-back Ryan Fredericks has praised stand in goalkeeper Roberto for his performance against Bournemouth.
Roberto came on to replace Lukasz Fabianksi and acquitted himself well on his Premier League debut.
And if Fredericks’ comments are anything to go by, he has the trust of his teammates, which is so important for a goalkeeper.
Fredericks told West Ham’s official website: “He commanded the box well and made a couple of decent saves. We’ve got more than enough confidence in him, we see it in training every day.
“He’s a mountain of a man, commanding the box well. He’s loud and has more than enough experience to take it into the next few games if that’s the case.
“It’s good to have a goalkeeper who’s loud and commanding as it keeps you on your toes and instils confidence in the back four, which is good.
“He’s a big lad. He’s a nice guy and a good goalkeeper, most importantly.”

This was the perfect way for the Spaniard to bounce back from conceding four goals against Oxford United in the Carabao Cup days earlier.
First choice stopper Fabianski suffered a muscle injury and while the length of time he will be out for is yet to be determined, it is likely Roberto could start this coming weekend against Crystal Palace.
So it certainly helps that Fredericks is raving about him, and if anything else, hearing his comments will lift his confidence.
