Sofiane Fegouli says he will work hard to be better at West Ham next season.

Sofiane Feghouli was a big name signing brought in on a free transfer last summer by West Ham but he struggled to live up to his reputation.
Feghouli made only 11 starts and a further 10 appearances from the bench, scoring three times.
The former Valencia winger netted one of these goals on the final day of the season, and is feeling positive about next season.

He wants to continue at the Olympic Stadium, and pledged to get behind manager Slaven Bilic and work his hardest to be a bigger asset to the club next season.
Feghouli wrote on Instagram: “I arrived last summer by signing a 3-year contract with West Ham. Happy to arrive in a new club, a new city and a new challenge.
“For various reasons, I did not play as much as I wanted but it does not change my goals for the next season: being as competitive as possible.
“My coach knows he can count on my motivation, professionalism and determination as always. Now place a holiday to come back soon and prepare next season even more determined than I arrived.”

Right now that should be exactly what West Ham fans want to hear.
Feghouli is a player with proven pedigree, having starred in the Champions League, and is capable of better than he showed in his first season.
Even if he wanted to use the Hammers as a stepping stone to another club, his 2016/17 season would not leave him with many better options, and getting back to basis and delivering next year is his best avenue in every regard.
