West Ham United have named Michail Antonio as the club’s player of the month via their official website.
The Hammers star was a clear winner for the Hammers too, winning 57% of the fans votes to beat off competition from teammates Arthur Masuaku and Cheikhou Kouyate.
It was just reward too, with him having starred for Slaven Bilic’s side in their first four games of the season.

Indeed, his form did not go unnoticed as he was also handed his first call-up into the England squad by Sam Allardyce.

Starting with goals, and he was the most prolific of West Ham’s players in August, with four goals in four games despite managing just five shots on target.
His passing was also solid with 76 in total, two of which were key passes, as well as an overall passing accuracy of 75%.

His dribbling was particularly impressive with nine won contests, the second most of any West Ham player.
He also registered four accurate crosses in total, which was the joint most in the Hammers squad alongside Gokhan Tore.
An impressive month for Antonio though, who will be keen to build on it and help his side improve on their current slow start to the season.
