Hammers star Manuel Lanzini offered his backing for under-fire club captain Mark Noble, during an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, highlighting how he tries to learn as much as he can from the 29-year-old.
Noble has had to endure heavy criticism from fans and pundits alike this season, after his levels of performance dropped off dramatically from last term’s incredible heights.
He still has a major influence on Slaven Bilic’s team, however, and a lot of the good work that he does seems to go unnoticed by the untrained eye.
And Lanzini, who has been in magnificent form during the second half of the season, defended his captain, insisting that he remains a vitally important member of the West Ham team, during an exclusive interview with WHUFC.com:

“It’s very good to play alongside Nobes. It’s always good to play alongside experienced players and particularly those who are truly loved at their clubs, as they are the ones who can help you so much on and off the pitch. It’s very important to have him around and I try to learn as much as I can by watching him.”
With the East London outfit by no means safe from the threat of relegation, they will most definitely need both Noble and Lanzini to be at their very best, following their return to action after the two week international break.
And consecutive away games against Hull City and Arsenal will certainly provide them with an extremely tough test.
