The West Ham United winger has just started to find his feet in England.

West Ham’s club record signing Felipe Anderson sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and he shared how everyone seems to expect him to make the difference in every match that he plays.

The Brazilian joined the Hammers from Lazio in the summer, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £40 million, but he has taken his time to settle in east London, chalking up just one goal and two assists in 10 appearances in all competitions thus far.

Anderson has been improving week by week, though, and Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping that the 25-year-old continues his fine recent form.

The former Lazio ace hinted that there might just be too much pressure on is shoulders, however, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website:

“My adaptation has been wonderful, better than expected, and it will be even better with time. People think that Felipe Anderson can make a difference in every match and to have the trust of my teammates and to have the trust of the fans is very important.”

Next up for West Ham is a trip to Leicester City on Saturday, and Anderson will have to be at his very best, if they are to leave the east Midlands with all three points.
