Hammers skipper Mark Noble sat down for an interview with the club’s official website, and shared his confidence heading into the final third of the season, highlighting how the signings of Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass in January have made a big difference.
West Ham currently sit in 10th position in the Premier League table – an admirable achievement considering how poorly they started their season, and are just nine points adrift of seventh placed Everton as they head into Saturday’s game away at Watford.
And the 29-year-old spoke to WHUFC.com about the prospect of tomorrow’s trip to Vicarage Road, sharing his confidence due to the fact that the Hammers squad is now full of players who actually want to work and fight for the team:
“After what happened over Christmas [with the Dimitri Payet situation], the past six weeks have been great. The lads are digging in for each other and we’ve signed some really good players, players who want to play for the team and work for the team. It’s been really good the last six weeks.”

Slaven Bilic’s side have managed to turn their season around since just before Christmas when Payet was still at the club, if the truth be known, and have put together a fine run of form that has seen them win six and draw one of their last 10 Premier League outings.
And if they can continue to churn out victories over the next month of so, they will put pressure on Ronald Koeman’s men in the race for the final Europa League spot.
