The West Ham United striker has been in the headlines over the past few days.

West Ham skipper Mark Noble insisted that Marko Arnautovic loves the football club, when writing his regular column for the London Evening Standard, whilst also sharing how everybody loves him too.

The 29-year-old forward joined the Hammers from Stoke City in the summer of 2017, for around £20 million, and he has gone on to be a real hit in east London, chalking up 19 goals and 10 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions thus far.

Arnie has been linked with a move away from West Ham this month, however, with numerous reports suggesting that there have been bids submitted from China for his services.

The Austrian’s brother and agent suggested earlier this week that his client wants to leave, before West Ham hit back immediately, insisting that he is not for sale at any price.

And now Noble has weighed into the debate.

The West Ham captain explained how he knows that Arnautovic loves the club, when speaking to the London Evening Standard:

West Ham United's Marko Arnautovic celebrates scoring his side's first goal with Mark Noble during the Premier League match between West Ham United and AFC Bournemouth at London Stadium on...

“Marko Arnautovic has again been the centre of attention. I’m not qualified to comment on transfer stuff on any player because it’s nothing to do with me. But I know he loves this club — and we love him.”

Arnautovic is incredibly important to the way in which West Ham play, so keeping him this month will be of paramount importance to Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

If the Chinese club continues to increase their bids for the Austrian, however, it will be incredibly hard for the Hammers to keep digging their heels in.
