Bournemouth’s Harry Arter is one player that is on West Ham’s radar, but the London club have been told they will have to pay £15 million in order to secure a deal, as reported by The Mirror.
With Mark Noble having struggled at times this season it is clear that West Ham require investment in midfield, but Arter doesn’t appear to be the best possible solution to the problem.
The Republic of Ireland international is impressive at retaining possession but isn’t especially dynamic and West Ham require a player who can contribute more towards their attacking momentum.
West Ham would be better off looking elsewhere as they seek to improve their squad and it seems clear that the acquisition of Arter wouldn’t be sufficient to help the club get out of their current situation.
Moyes’ side are in 15th place in the Premier League but are just two points clear of the relegation zone and know that they have much work to do in order to preserve their top flight status.
