The West Brom striker is decent, but West Ham United should be looking at bigger players.
The Express and Star reported today that West Ham United are weighing up a move for West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon, with the report adding that only a “huge offer” would prise him from The Hawthorns this summer.
West Ham’s reported striking targets seem to be getting more underwhelming by the week and manager Slaven Bilic would be crazy to spend big money on the 27-year-old.

The West Brom man scored eight Premier League goals last season but only has one this calendar year, with the Baggies rejecting a £32 million bid from a Chinese club in January.
He is a good striker, but the Irons – who have Andy Carroll, Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho on the books – already have three of them.
What they don’t have, however, is an excellent striker, one who can take them to the next level – and Rondon isn’t that man.
Is he an upgrade on their current options? The likes of Olivier Giroud and Javier Hernandez certainly are, but it’s debatable for Rondon.
