This summer West Ham United will be looking to bring in a new striker. This campaign injuries have left them short up front whilst summer recruits Jonathan Calleri and Simone Zaza proved ineffectual in the Premier League.
Plenty of big names and household names have been linked, but as West ham fans know from last summer that often leads to disappointment.
Instead they should be targeting lesser known players, such as Krasnodar striker Fedor Smolov.
The Russian international, who has recently been linked to Stoke City and Fenerbahce, has been in outstanding form for the past two seasons.

He netted 24 goals in 44 games last term but this season he has been even more prolific scoring 22 times in 27 games for the Russian side, who currently sit fourth in the Russian Premier League.
His form has gone under the radar across Europe bu West Ham would be wise to be keeping tabs on the player considering his excellent form.
Smolov, who can also play on the left-wing, would be a perfect transfer for the Hammers and one they might actually be able to pull off.
