Newcastle are reportedly keen on signing Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.

The signing of Joe Hart in the summer was seen as a major coup by West Ham United, but a matter of months down the line, the England stopper has been dropped by the Hammers – and potentially England.
It has seen Spaniard Adrian start over the Manchester City loanee instead, but if Moyes remains in charge at the London Stadium come the summer and keeps the east Londoners in the Premier League, a replacement will be required.
Moyes needs a goalkeeper he can trust, one he has worked with before, if he is to stop the rot at the back and take West Ham to the next level and it should see him consider Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.

Moyes worked with the Argentine stopper from his time with the La Liga outfit in the 2014-15 season, and is renowned for his impeccable shot stopping and industrious distribution.
However, the Hammers would find competition in Newcastle if they were to attempt to sign Rulli, with Spanish outlet Il Mattino claiming Rafa Benitez’s men are keen on signing Rulli in the summer.
But Moyes could use his past to lure Rulli to the London Stadium instead of a move to Tyneside, in a move that would prove to be a major coup for the Hammers.

They would be signing a goalkeeper with the calibre of a Champions League stopper, but it would benefit West Ham two-fold as they would finally solve their problem area between the sticks.
If Newcastle do attempt to land Rulli’s signature, the Hammers must not let them sign the stopper without a fight.
