West Ham United have been linked with two Manchester City full-backs recently, but it is perhaps another that should be on their radar.

A report from the Daily Mirror in early February suggested that West Ham were planning to target full-backs Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta this summer, but perhaps it should be their Manchester City teammate who should be on their radar.
According to The Sun, Gael Clichy is set to leave the Etihad this summer when his contract comes to an end as there are no fresh talks on the horizon.
If he does end up leaving, then the Hammers may want to consider making a move. Though he would not address their problems at right-back like the other pair would, he would still be an excellent addition on a free transfer.
Aaron Cresswell has looked to be off the boil for much of the campaign, so perhaps having competition of Clichy’s quality could help bring the best out of him once again, and if it does not, Slaven Bilic has a three-time Premier League winner in his ranks to throw into the side.

Based on his performances this season, the 31-year-old should have, at least, a couple more years left at the highest level, and having players of his calibre within the squad could help the Irons take that next step in the top flight.
And while his wages would probably be fairly steep for West Ham, especially for a player that is not guaranteed to start, the lack of a transfer fee surely means that signing him could still be considered a bargain.
