West Ham United could sell Said Benrahma and Nottingham Forest are emerging as a potential destination for the playmaker.
The Hammers are enduring a frustrating window with a number of targets slipping through their net in recent weeks.
Jesse Lingard and Amadou Onana spring to mind, respectively choosing to join Nottingham Forest and Everton instead.
West Ham may need to do some wheeling and dealing in the final weeks of the transfer window, and one player could join Lingard at Forest.
West Ham United could sell Said Benrahma
Fabrizio Romano reports that West Ham are prepared to sell both Benrahma and Nikola Vlasic in the coming days.
Torino allegedly want to sign Vlasic, but the market for Benraham may be a little closer to home.
The Guardian reported on Sunday that Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Benrahma to add to their attacking options.
Saturday’s goalless display in the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle United may have left Steve Cooper feeling that more attacking firepower is needed.
Still, if Cooper sticks with the 3-4-1-2 he has been playing at Forest, it’s hard to see where both Benrahma and Lingard fit into the team.

Lingard played as a number 10 away at Newcastle, operating behind Sam Surridge and Brennan Johnson.
Neither Lingard nor Benrahma work as foil for Johnson and playing the Welshman up front on his own is unlikely to worth either.
West Ham paid a £30million package to sign Benrahma back in 2020, giving Brentford a £5million loan fee before turning the move permanent for £25million.
Benrahma has shown moments of quality but has just never really found the consistency to be a key player under David Moyes.
Moyes may now be willing to sell Benrahma and bring in funds to revamp his West Ham side.
The 26-year-old has been exciting at times but if Forest come in with a fee that helps West Ham recoup most of their cash, don’t be surprised to see him go.
