West Ham United have been linked with Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that West Ham have been open to offers for Carroll for some time, but ex-Manchester City boss Pellegrini will give the former Newcastle United and Liverpool striker to impress in pre-season before making a decision on his future.

Good plan
Carroll has struggled with injury problems at West Ham for a while now, and one should not be surprised that the Hammers have (reportedly) been looking to sell him for a while.
However, with Pellegrini now the new manager of the London club, it would make sense for them to wait until pre-season to make a decision on the future of the 29-year-old.
West Ham paid Liverpool a transfer fee of £15 million in the summer of 2013 in order to sign Carroll on a permanent contract following a loan spell during the 2012-13 season, according to BBC Sport.

Marouane Fellaini situation
According to The Mirror, West Ham are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini on a free transfer window.
However, it seems that it is AC Milan who are making breakthrough on that front. According to The Times, the Italian club’s manager Gennaro Gattuso has spoken to the Belgium international on phone in order to persuade the 30-year-old to move to the Rossoneri in the summer.
Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has suggested to Sky Sports that they want Fellaini, who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Mail.
