Tottenham Hotspur must rival West Ham United for Dani Ceballos.

West Ham United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Saturday afternoon – but Spurs should be looking to beat them to a big signing.
The Hammers look set to miss out on Europa League qualification, and boss Manuel Pellegrini will subsequently want reinforcements in the summer transfer market.
Despite already having Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini, another creative player is being linked, as The Mirror claim Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos is a target.
Pellegrini and Mario Husillos are allegedly keen to bring in Ceballos, who has been told he’s surplus to requirements under Zinedine Zidane and will be available for around £18million.
Ceballos, 22, showed with Real Betis that he’s a creative and technically-gifted midfielder, most operating from a deeper role than a classic number 10.
Yet if West Ham are keen, then Tottenham certainly should be. They rely so heavily on Christian Eriksen for creativity, and they risk losing the Dane this summer with just a year left on his contract.

Ceballos would give Spurs another creative playmaker without breaking the bank, whilst at just 22, he’d have huge potential to fulfil in North London whilst featuring regularly having let Moussa Dembele go without replacing him.
Ceballos would be some coup for West Ham, but with Spurs being able to offer European football, Tottenham should be looking to act quickly by swooping and beating the Hammers to the Real Madrid outcast.
