Reports suggest the signing of Dju from Benfica is imminent at West Ham.

West Ham United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Benfica teenager Mesaque Dju, with the youngster said to be on his way to London to put pen to paper – but Hammers fans are not impressed.
Portuguese outlet Record claim the 19-year-old attacker is set to sign a deal with West Ham despite being promoted to the club’s reserve side of late and making eight appearances with Benfica B in the second tier of Portuguese football.
Versatile forward Dju is able to play on either flank or up front, and he is set to team up with fellow Portuguese player Xande Silva in the Hammers’ reserve team.
It is believed that Benfica have included a clause in the deal that states the Portuguese side will receive 50 per cent of whatever the club decides to sell Dju for in the future – if he is indeed sold.

Dju has played more than 50 times for his country at youth level, appearing for the Under-16’s right through to the Under-20’s – scoring two goals in nine outings for the latter.
Obviously highly rated by both club and his home country, his reportedly imminent signing has hardly been met with the same excitement by West Ham fans – with the majority unconvinced he will break into the Hammers first team.
