West Ham will give David Moyes a new two-year contract this summer if he decides to remain as manager.

Moyes initially signed a deal until until the end of the season when he first took the job following Slaven Bilic’s sacking and it is not yet known whether the 54-year-old wants to extend that.

However, the Hammers hierarchy have been impressed with what the former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland boss has achieved during his time at the London Stadium.
When Moyes took charge on November 7, West Ham were just one point and one place outside the relegation zone having just lost 4-1 at home to Liverpool.

Since then the East Londoners have won five, drawn six and lost five of his 16 league matches at the helm, moving up to 12th place in the process.
Things do still remain tight in the top tier of English football, though, with Moyes’ men still only four points from the drop zone and of course any new contract will be based on him keeping them in the division.
