West Ham United reportedly want Celta Vigo duo Stanislav Lobotka and Maxi Gomez.

West Ham United have already secured a couple of signings this summer, but fans are hoping for some more exciting additions in the coming weeks.

The Hammers have brought in two veteran goalkeepers in Roberto and David Martin, but it’s clear that West Ham need a midfielder and at least one striker.

A real ball-player next to Declan Rice would be ideal, whilst a big target man to lead the line for Manuel Pellegrini would also be ideal.

Now, Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio claims that West Ham are working on a double raid on Spanish side Celta Vigo, with midfielder Stanislav Lobotka and striker Maxi Gomez wanted.

It’s claimed that talks are underway about a €60million (£53million) deal for the pair, with West Ham hoping to pull off an impressive double swoop.

Lobotka, 24, has earned comparisons to Luka Modric with his graceful style and diminutive stature in midfield, with Uruguayan target man Gomez hit 13 goals and five assists this past season.

West Ham may still need to offload a couple of big earners before they can push for such a move, but it’s certainly got Hammers supporters excited.

West Ham fans have been taking to Twitter to urge the club to get a deal done, believing that the pair are next level signings and a bargain even at more than £50million, with some feeling it’s too hard to see a deal being done.
