Sky reporter Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that West Ham United are ‘in talks’ with AFC Bournemouth over the sale of Darren Randolph, whose contract expires in the summer.
The Irons goalkeeper could be the Cherries’ third January signing, with Dango Ouattara already through the door and Nicolas Jackson potentially in line for a medical in the next 24 hours.
It now seems that West Ham seem open to letting Darren Randolph join Bournemouth this month.
After all, the Hammers have two top shotstoppers in Lukasz Fabianski and Alphonse Areola at their disposal.
Fabianski is the club’s No.1, while Areola tends to be utilised during cup competitions.
Keeping that in mind, it only makes sense for David Moyes’ side to sell the £35,000-a-week star in January, while taking home a certain fee as he will be a free agent in the summer.
Returning to the London Stadium in his second spell at the club in 2020, it does seem as if the ageing goalkeeper could now bid farewell to the East London outfit once again.
West Ham United goalkeeper Darren Randolph could join Bournemouth

According to Sky reporter Dharmesh Sheth, West Ham and Bournemouth are in talks over the permanent transfer of Darren Randolph.
Furthermore, the 35-year-old is set to be brought in by the Cherries to provide competition to Neto and Mark Travers.
Ultimately, this transfer is a win-win for all parties, as the Irish ace could try to push for first-team minutes, West Ham could earn a fee for the player and Bournemouth could secure the services of their goalkeeping target.
