West Ham United have secured their greatest ever Premier League points tally.
West Ham United picked up yet another impressive win yesterday, as they turned over West Brom 3-0 at The Hawthorns.
The result saw The Hammers move to their record Premier League points tally of 59 points and keep alive their slim hopes of qualifying for the Champions League – whilst also moving ahead of Manchester United in the league table.
It was a fantastic performance from the Hammers who have had a magnificent season in the Premier League this term.
Goals from Cheikhou Kouyate and a brace from Mark Noble did the job for West Ham. Noble has been a star in the West Ham team this season and he took to Twitter after the game to celebrate the result and the record:
He was not alone in expressing his joy at breaking the points record – with plenty of others getting on Twitter to react to breaking the record.
The likes of goalkeeper Adrian, midfield maestro Manuel Lanzini and left-back Aaron Cresswell were all on the tweet discussing the result:
West Ham fans will now be hoping that the Hammers can push on and secure European competition for next season.
