The West Ham United ace has a cult following on social media networks.

West Ham ace Patrice Evra spoke exclusively to the club’s official website about his high-profile off-field antics, and insisted that his highly successful career within the game allows him to have fun away from the football pitch.
The Frenchman is well-known for his hilarious antics on social media, but some claim that his attention and focus on playing has been adversely affected by it.
Evra fiercely denies those accusations, though.
The 36-year-old spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and explained how the things that he does away from the football pitch now would not have even entered his mind earlier on in his career:

“I am not encouraging people to do what I am doing, because I am doing it after I have fulfilled my different responsibility on the pitch. If young guys want to make silly videos and make people laugh, but not take any responsibility on the pitch, this is really difficult. I can manage that with my experience because I don’t think I would do that kind of video when I was 20 because now I know how to focus on my work.”

Evra joined West Ham on a free transfer in February, and has gone on to make two Premier League appearances since then.
David Moyes brought the former Manchester United man to the club in a bid to add some much needed experience to his squad, but he has failed to have any kind of positive impact at the London Stadium thus far.
With eight games still remaining this season, though, Evra still has the chance to prove that he has what it takes to play another season in the top flight.
