Robert Snodgrass is going back to West Ham United following a loan spell at Aston Villa.

West Ham United-owned winger Robert Snodgrass has taken to Instagram to send an emotional farewell message to Aston Villa.
Snodgrass is leaving Villa to return to his parent club West Ham following the end of his loan spell at Villa Park.
The former Leeds United winger joined the Villans from the Hammers on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2017.
The 30-year-old Scotland international, who played a key role in Steve Bruce’s side reaching the Championship playoff final, has sent a farewell message to Villa.

No Aston Villa return?
Snodgrass was a star for Villa this past season, as the former Leeds and Norwich City winger scored seven goals and provided 14 assists in 41 Championship starts for the Villans.
With Villa failing to get promoted to the Premier League, it is hard to see the winger, who earns £40,000 per week as salary according to The Daily Star, return to the Villans next season.
Perhaps Snodgrass will get another chance at West Ham under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, or maybe the London club will decide to sell him this summer.
