West Ham United are looking to poach Leicester City’s head of recruitment, according to reporters.

According to a report from ESPN, West Ham have offered Leicester City’s head of senior player recruitment Eduardo Macia a significant pay-rise, in an attempt to prise him away from the King Power Stadium.
The Hammers appointed Mario Husillos as their Director of Football earlier this year, and they want Macia at the club to work alongside the Argentinian.
West Ham spent heavily this summer, bringing in nine new players to the tune of roughly £100 million, but only time will tell whether that turns out to be money well spent or not.
ESPN claims that despite Mario Husillos’ role at the London Stadium, West Ham are still keen to bring in Leicester’s Macia to work alongside their Director of Football.
The 44-year-old joined Leicester in September 2016, and he has overseen a plethora of high-profile arrivals at the King Power Stadium.

Macia is well respected in the game, and his expertise would surely be a major boost to the Hammers in the way in which they recruit players.
If the Hammers were to poach him from the Foxes, the east Midlands outfit would surely be due some form of compensation, however.
