West Ham United have come forward with a real interest in rivalling Real Sociedad for Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney.
Kieran Tierney is now wanted at West Ham United as the Arsenal defender weighs up leaving the club.
That is according to the Daily Express, who claim that West Ham are the ‘latest club’ to register their interest in signing Tierney.
Spanish side Real Sociedad – ironically the former club of both David Moyes and Mikel Arteta – have been in talks over a loan deal for Tierney.
West Ham are now getting involved though with Moyes seemingly keen to strike a deal for the Scot.
It’s unclear whether West Ham would offer cash or a loan-to-buy but Arsenal would no doubt love to rake in some cash right now.
Tierney was completely left out of the Arsenal squad to face Nottingham Forest over the weekend.
The former Celtic star is not injured and simply wasn’t selected, leaving Tierney seemingly staring at an Arsenal exit before the transfer deadline.

West Ham United an interesting option for Kieran Tierney
If Tierney isn’t even going to make the matchday squad at Arsenal then it’s pretty clear that he needs to go.
The 26-year-old lost his starting place to Oleksandr Zinchenko last season and doesn’t seem to be in Mikel Arteta’s plans.
Tierney needs to be playing regularly and simply can’t afford to have another season sat on the sidelines.

West Ham appear to be in the market for another left back this summer amid question marks over Aaron Cresswell’s future.
Chelsea talent Ian Maatsen has been linked but Tierney now presents a more Premier League-proven option.
Moyes is a former Celtic man himself and will have no doubt been aware of Tierney for a while now, possibly eyeing him up for a key role at the London Stadium.
Signed for £25million in 2019, Tierney – hailed as ‘outstanding’ by Brendan Rodgers earlier this year – should be intrigued by a move to West Ham this summer as he seeks to get his career back on track.
