West Ham United have a prolific goal-scorer playing out wide, so why not put him up front?

West Ham United's Michail Antonio scores their first goal

West Ham United are struggling so far this season, with back-to-back 4-2 defeats consigning them to the Premier League relegation zone.

There is still plenty of time to turn things around, and the Hammers have an EFL Cup clash with Accrington Stanley this evening to take their minds of their league woes, but when Slaven Bilic’s side take on Southampton at the weekend there is a simple but effective change he should make for the good of the team.

Michail Antonio has been about the only bright spark for West Ham so far this season, scoring five goals in five appearances from out wide.

With West Ham’s forward’s struggling to get anywhere close to that return, Bilic should move Antonio further forward and start summer signing Sofiane Feghouli on the right.

The Algerian international is now back to full fitness and gave a tantalising glimpse of his ability when he came off the bench against West Bromwich Albion last time out.

With the former Valencia man putting in crosses for Antonio to finish, it could be exactly what West Ham need to kick-start their floundering campaign, so come on Slaven, what are you waiting for?
